THREE THINGS TO UPDATE IN YOUR BRAND FOR 2022

Are you dreaming big for 2022? Before you get too far into the year, here are three important things to evaluate in your brand and update.

01. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE

It's so important to review your website annually and see if you need to update any information that may no longer be relevant to your brand. For example, is your brand pillars still the same? Are there any images that need to be updated? Don't forget to check your footer and make sure that you change your copyright year to the current one, this let your audience know that the content on your page is up to date.

02. IS YOUR HEADSHOT UP TO DATE?

Have you ever come across a website and notice that the headshot on the website looks like it was taken 5yrs ago? I can't stress enough to address that having an updated headshot on your website is so important. Not just for your website, but on your social platforms as well.

I know not everyone like to be in front of the camera, I admit, even as a photographer, I'm much more comfortable behind the lens, however, as the face of the brand, it's so important that you have an update headshot of yourself to share with your audience and potential clients. They want to connect with you, and the best way to show authenticity in your brand is to be yourself and share your smile with your audience by sharing the latest headshot of yourself so that they know who they're connecting with.

You don't have to update your self portrait daily or monthly, but every 6 months or at the very least, annually updating your headshot is a great way to share who you are and connect with your audience.

03. SOCIAL MEDIA BIO

Everyone is on social media, not just for personal usage but business as well. To run a successful business, whether online or with a physical location, it's important to make sure the information status on your social platforms reflect what you offers. Have you updated your bio lately? Head over to your social media platforms and make sure the message on your bio is up to date.
